A healthy, ecological and sustainable house for a young family, individual and in its base a prototype at the same time. Suitable for all the wishes, needs and requirements of a family in different life stages. The task was to design a low cost house, affordable for everyone. A place to find peace and to withdraw and at the same time open , flushed with daylight and inviting. Functions such as living, cooking, dining, working and the entrance no longer work in the traditional way separated from each other but are spaces, which flow into one another, and make long sight-relation within the home and from the house with nature possible. Spaces are multifunctional useable. The consciously unpretentious held, traditional building shape gets with the, at the corners opened, windows the play of horizontal and vertical wooden planks in the façade a balanced visual lightness.
The construction of the house is based on a wooden skeleton structure, which is filled with straw and on the inside cladded with clay. The way of constructing the house should be as simple as possible, so that ordinary people can do a lot of the constructing work themselves.
